Schnitz Ale Brewery in Parma, Ohio, was a good stop for dinner! We came in for a quick bite and had a good time. The restaurant itself was very open, a good amount of room, with two floors total. There is/was a bar on the first floor, and they do have a patio for nice weather.
Our waitress was very nice! We stared with the Everything Season Jumbo Pretzel. I am not the biggest fan of Everything Bagel Seasoning. However, it rubbed right off, and when you dipped it into the Beer Cheese, it was very good! Sam loved it with the seasoning on it overall and the mustard side.
I got the Smoke Haus Platter. They were out of Brisket, so it got subsisted with Pulled Pork . The pulled pork was okay, the wings were good, the sausage was perfect!
We got some desserts to go, such as the Red Velvet Cake, Pumpkin Roll, and Peanut Butter Cheese Cake. They were all okay.
We would come back overall for another meal to try something else!
Loving the changes to the menu! Especially the fresh fennel-citrus salad. The house brewed heiffweizen with an orange slice is perfect for the summer. The smoked wings, house made sausages and honey cornbread are delicious! Service is always good and the atmosphere is fabulous! And don’t forget to leave room for the homemade desserts!
My husband and I went there for lunch around noon on a Thursday. They had a small crowd, but the service was great. The shareable pretzel is HUGE and delicious, covered in bier cheese, bacon, and green onion. We each got sausage sandwiches (his with kraut, mine without). It was the best bratwurst I've ever had. The mustard they give you with sandwiches was a treat all on its own. Plus, it's beautiful inside. We will definitely return.
Great Food, good drinks, alright servers. The Burgers and the Porkbelly were great. We were pleasantly surprised when the bun of the Chicken Sausage Sandwich was actually soft and not hard as a rock. Yummy mashed potatoes and nice crispy fries. The server was pretty much a ghost though :/
Good food and beer, was empty on a Tuesday afternoon. Wanted to order the White sausage platter, but they were out and substituted another sausage, which was really good . Came with Red Cabbage and Spetzel also had the pork bites as an appetizer. At one time, they had a sausage platter that had 3 different types on it, but no longer they really need to bring that back ! Menu has changed not for the better. Service was really good, but being the only 2 in the place, it better be.
Everything was amazing. Our server Bri was phenomenal and couldn't have been nicer. The food was delicious. The pork belly starter was very good. The sausage platter was amazing and the drunken beans with it are unbelievable. The atmosphere is great. The beer flight was a great way to try their beers. We can't wait to come back!
This is a restaurant/bar that serves primarily German food. My meal, the chicken schnitzel sandwich was ok, but my friend loved the Reuben sandwich. The drinks were good though. The servers were friendly. This place is good for gathering with friends for drinks. They have trivia at 7pm Tuesdays. It was very loud in there and somewhat difficult to talk. The parking lot is too small and the cars parked on the sidestreet outside got parking tickets, which is a problem.
This is located on Pearl Road directly across the street from the original Das Schnitzel Haus. Very nice addition to the original restaurant. The decor here is Industrial Boho with lots of wood and tile.
They have a nice patio here as well. There are quite a few tables out there as well. They have a couple of big doors to bring the outside in and meld the inside to the outside.
I was here for lunch, and there were only a few people in here, but by the time we left, more people trickled in. They have a large selection of beers. Most of the beers are their own brew.
The food menu was a decent size as well. They have appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. The prices seemed a tad high, in my opinion, but they give you a good portion for your money.
I had a Reuben sandwich that came with fries. The corned beef of the reuben was a thicker cut with a nice smoky flavor.
I liked that they gave you the 1000 island dressing on the side instead of already on the sandwich. The reuben came on grilled marble rye. The sandwich was a good size and full of flavor.
The two others in our group had the Brewstit sandwich. It was a slow smoked brisket on a brioche bun with BBQ sauce on the side and coleslaw. That was also served with a side of fries. I would definitely put this place on the must do list.
